Sleeping at the Beach

After a refreshing swim and my third ride for the day I made it to Kavala just before sunset, this felt like a small victory because I didn't have an accommodation yet.

It didn't take long before I realized that there were just a few fancy hotels and a bar named hostel here? Nice naming there...

The restaurant owners’ at the only square in town laughed a bit at my sleeping bag and my desperate efforts to find a place to stay. After some map research with the waiters we figured out that there would be a big camping area on the other side of Kavala!

I got to spend the most idyllic night of my trip sleeping in a sun chair!
