Canvas is an interdisciplinary collaboration bringing together fashion artist Henrica Langh and painter Sirpa Särkijärvi.

I’ve occasionally talked about how important it is for me to always find the best possible backdrops for my series. I thought I would share a bit of the thoughts process behind all this.

I’ve always enjoyed water as an element in my work. This summer I haven’t utilised the opportunities with warm water. 

I wanted to create a series with a strong painterly feel, something with a timeless aspect.
